Senior Software Engineering Manager & Elder
Known by friends as "The Bishop," I'm passionate about serving God through technology, leading engineering teams, and building software that makes a difference. I'm an elder committed to shepherding God's people and using my technical gifts for His glory.
I'm a Senior Software Engineering Manager with a heart for serving God and His people. With over 15 years of church leadership experience as an elder at Maranatha Community Church, I've served as deacon, community group leader, teacher, and youth group director. The nickname "Bishop" reflects both my leadership role and my commitment to servant leadership. I believe technology is a gift from God that can be used to advance His kingdom, build up the body of Christ, and serve His people through practical applications. In my personal time, I'm an avid runner, finding it essential for both my physical and mental health.
Recent projects that combine my faith and technical skills:
As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, I focus on building high-performing teams, architectural decision-making, and delivering complex software solutions. My experience spans team leadership, system design, and full-stack development. I'm passionate about mentoring engineers and creating environments where both people and technology flourish.
Beyond software engineering, I'm deeply passionate about theology and studying God's Word. I love discussing the intersection of faith and technology. When I'm not coding or studying scripture, you'll find me cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes! Go Bucks! I also enjoy mentoring young engineers and serving in various church ministries.
Interested in discussing theology, technology, Ohio State football, or potential collaborations? I'd love to connect!
